Old Brown Alpha

Old Brown Alpha. Well we haven't done an Alphabet for a while. The little clip and twine bow are included in this download. It's a bit larger than the others. I made these in a couple of colors, if you'd like to mix and match, and I'll get the others loaded next week. Thank you Nani, loved the page. You gals are always so creative, and I also get lots of new idea's from you. I fixed all the broken links, except Moose lodge...later today. Because I'm redoing the previews for each kit as they are loaded in the new account, it's takes a bit more time. It'll will help save some bandwidth, so hopefully we won't run out. Also the Stitching Templates were loaded into CU DESIGNS today.

King Pin

King Pin.  I loaded an old box that I'm not going to use in a kit, at CU DESIGNS. Also the basket that I used in What's Cookin? In the kit, it was filled with tomatoes, this is just an empty basket.

Date Template #10

I would be happy to fix any broken links, but please use the post in the top of the side bar to report it. Changing the comments to be moderated lets me read them before posting, to prevent spam comments. It's doesn't let me know which item each comment is for. Thanks so much. Date Template #10. Reloaded into Mediafire 4/21. It's only a template, open the template and click on the date shape...
  1. Add a paper or new layer and fill with color.
  2. Included are 2 cross bars in white or black. Put the color you would like on the layer above the other.
  3. Pick a color and type the date, each part in a new layer so that they may moved to a position pleasing to your eye.
  4. If you would like to change the color in month, date and year fields. Click on the type tool, highlight the text, click on the foreground color and it's changed. Do this for all three date layers.
  5. If you'd like to use a different font...highlight the text in each layer, pick a font you like and it will automatically change the font. Fonts are never the same size however, so resize the first one. Remember this size or write it down and resize all the other text layers to the changed size. Have fun.

Hippity Hoppity

Sorry it's so late, blogger was acting up this morning. The download includes a basket and handle. Remember you can resize the eggs, so there is some variation. All the eggs are separate files.
  1. Drag the basket into your layout.
  2. Drag in the eggs and position them.
  3. Also included is a handle, drag it in the layers above the eggs and align it with the basket below. This sets the eggs behind the front edge of the basket. Now erase the back edge so that all your eggs show.
  4. Finished! Lock all the layers together and click Layers>Merge linked.
The fastest way to set the eggs into the grass is...
  1. Drag the grass into your layout.
  2. Layout your eggs.
  3. Now duplicate the grass layer and move it down until your happy with the positioning. The eggs now seem to be sitting in the grass, and you have avoided a lot of erasing.
  4. Link the layers in your "grass layout". You don't have to do this but it makes the layers palette clearer to work in.
  5. Click Layers>Merge linked. Have Fun.

Month Frames

Month Frames. It includes a mask. All the files are black.
  1. Drag the mask into your layout.
  2. Position the photo in the layer above the mask and Crtl+g.
  3. Now drag the month frame into your layout and position it over the photo.
  4. Add a new layer and add color or paper.
  5. Now lock all the layers together, from this last layer, click the lock back down to the mask. Click Layer>merge grouped.
  6. Position your photo anywhere on the page you'd like. Have Fun.
This afternoon, I'll load some more items into the other blog, CU Designs. I have been making the note for you, that these items were originally posted here. So that you would know if these were things you may have already downloaded.
